Cannot perform this action on a closed dataset

Solution

A.    Where do you get this message:

·         On the computer where the OilPro Server engine is installed

 

B.      Why do you get this message:

·         When the OilPro Server engine is already running and it is started again.

 

C.    What to do:

·         Close the OilPro Server engine by right clicking on the car and selecting “Close”

·         Make sure all instances of the Server Engine is closed

·         Restart the OilPro Server engine by double clicking shortcut on desktop.
